What you tell Ember

I have $25,000 to invest and I'll need it in more than 20 years. Along the way I'll keep adding to it. If it fell 20% in a month, I'd wait it out, and I could live with losing 30% or more in a bad year. I'd like growth and quality, and I'd rather leave out tobacco.

Ember would put 85% of it in stocks across 19 holdings, starting with GOOGL, MEDP and GEV. In a sharp crash it might fall about 29%.

Every company is ranked twice

Ember ranks each company against the others in its sector and against all 1,490. Banks always look cheap and software companies always look profitable next to everyone else, so for value and quality the sector comparison counts most.
